Bitpay & Coinbase are supporting a contentious hard fork, but aren't even up to date on the latest scaling technology It's been months since Segwit was released. So far we have plenty of wallets supporting it, yet Coinbase & Bitpay have not implemented Segwit addresses yet.

We have consumer hardware wallets already implementing Segwit addresses, yet these VC raised companies cannot even implement Segwit addresses yet. These companies are the same ones that are pushing for a incompatible hard fork, yet have not implemented the technology to increase the current blocksize to it's potential.

It's quite hypocritical, and just shows the lack of strength in these CEO's/management to get developers to implement the blocksize increase which Segwit provided.

15 years of BTC Power Law

5 years ago I made a post in this subreddit showing that BTC is a power law: Price=A*days^n, (days from Genesis Block), n=5.8. Many didn't believe me and said the past doesn't predict the future. Well, after 5 years it turns out that BTC continues its power law behavior with similar exponent. A power law is not another formula or model but the same mathematical behavior behind river formation, mountains growth, cities development, GDP vs population, and metabolic rate. Everything important is ruled by power laws, so BTC. BTC is a force of Nature.
