From an outsiders perspective, I believe that "Permission-less Digital Gold" is more important than an attempt at "Person to Person Digital Cash"

Hey all,

I am not part of the Bitcoin community and hold (essentially) zero Bitcoin. I have been watching the Political debate(s) closely for the past year and here is my feeling.

I believe that a "permission-less digital gold" is a necessary for the world we live in and the future we may be heading into. Corruption is wide spread, fiat currencies can become value-less in a matter of months and we have an Orwell style Big Brother waiting in the darkness.

I believe that having an electronic means to store large amounts of value and transfer it to (nearly) anyone in the world, without permission, is something that all people have a right too.

For me personally, things like "low fees" and "fast transfers" do matter but are a very distant second.

Again, this is my outsiders view. I would love to hear any and all opinions!
