Got My First Full Node Running

I hope it is okay to post this here. If not let me know and I will delete. I just needed to tell someone who could appreciate it.

I took one of my old computers from like 2008 and put a new 1TB hard drive in it. Installed Linux and Bitcoin core from bitcoin.org and started downloading the blockchain. She'll only take 4GB of RAM max.

I have it cranked down on number of peers, so that it does not consume all of my bandwidth on the initial block download. I'd say that I have a little more than half of the blockchain in about 4 days of downloading off and on. I mostly let it run over night while I sleep.

I am now officially part of the solution. W00T!
