$10 is a good deal, so $8.5K is an even better deal" long-term, big-picture perspective

Was Bitcoin a great deal at $10K? Yes.

Therefore, at $8.5K it's an even better deal.

Did something fundamentally change with Bitcoin in the last day or so? No.

Are central banks still engaged in endless "money printing"? Yes.

Are central bank fiat currencies doomed? Yes.

Is Bitcoin the "hardest" form of money ever invented? Yes.

Are the bailed-out banking criminals who created 2008/9 still out of jail and committing financial crimes with impunity? Yes.

Is debt at all levels, government, corporate, and private at unsustainable levels and growing? Yes.

Are there trade wars and currency wars? Yes.

Are there asset bubbles (real estate, stocks, bonds)? Yes. Will they pop? Certainly.

Will Bitcoin become the de facto global reserve currency? I believe so.

Should you own Bitcoin? That's up to you. But note: I've barely scratched the surface of the dire economic situation facing the world.
