99.98% uptime

Hello there fellow HODLers, just came to know that bitcoin's uptime is not 100%, but actually 99.98%. Anybody knows what happened that lead to the network going offline?

No, Bitcoin is not controlled by a small group of investors and miners (A rebuttal to the TechSpot article)
