I have a question - Is it not a good thing the price of bitcoin declines? It presumably gives everyone else the opportunity to buy at a lower price and shakes out those who were not in bitcoin for the long term, ultimately leading to greater gains in the future.

No, Bitcoin is not controlled by a small group of investors and miners (A rebuttal to the TechSpot article)
