Can we stop stacking the chips so high against us?

Every time I see something about BTC replacing big banks or USD, or curing all our energy problems any time soon I just want to smh a little. This is why people laugh at us and so many people have this comical internet money type of perception to this insanely disruptive tech. The reality is BTC can play a huge role in the way mankind transfers and holds value but its not replacing USD any time soon. I don't need to go over the properties, I've read Bitcoin Standard etc. and undeniably BTC is not going anywhere and will continue to click for people but BTC needs to coexist with other financial vehicles first. If we keep claiming it as this magic money that will replace everything else it just sets us up for failure imo. Let people believe it on their own by educating them on reasonable attributes

Instead if "BTC will replace USD", I like to say it can't be debased like USD and cant be confiscated. You arent forced to use it and the people who chose to only do so because its truly a better form of money, or property really. Slowly people will realize it's trustless and deflationary nature on their own.

Instead of "it will replace banks" I like to say it a strong asset for diversification in a growing technical world. It's not meant to replace banks overall. It's meant to by a sly roundabout way to introduce a money that can't be controlled by any government etc. Educate them.

I just feel like we are so defensive about it being our savior that most of the public won't take it seriously becuae they have a skeweded perception of what BTC is actually supposed to achieve. If people think it's meant to replace USD and banks ASAP then you are basically hurting more than helping imo.
