Every Ledger Thing is Broken

ARRGH.

I have two ledgers. I cannot access either using Ledger Live to send BTC. (I have not used them in many moons... they are my cold storage, both seeded to the same wallet).

Ledger Live can see my balance (on the Ledger I keep handy), but when I try to send it gives some bullshit unable to connect error. It says to update to latest Ledger Live. So I do. Then it says gives the bullshit unable to connect error and says I HAVE TO update my firmware.

WTF? I HAVE TO UPDATE MY FIRMWARE? HAVE TO?? What kind of bush league bullshit is this that you refuse to work with your own device running your own firmware?!!?!

Ok, so I do the firmware update,. except it bricks the ledger at the "bootloader" step. Multiple reboots, multiple "run as admin", you name it, no dice. the thing is bricked.

So no way in hell I am going to update the backup ledger (I fished it out of where it was hiding).

So I delete ledger live and reinstall v1.10.2 (I had the installer saved because I tend to do that for some reason).

Now v1.10.2 with the backup ledger and it won't connect to the BTC app on the Ledger. So of course it wants to update the firmware.

WTF Ledger. WTF.

What are my reasonable and SAFE alternatives to send BTC today? (ie not buy yet another stupid ledger).

15 years of BTC Power Law

5 years ago I made a post in this subreddit showing that BTC is a power law: Price=A*days^n, (days from Genesis Block), n=5.8. Many didn't believe me and said the past doesn't predict the future. Well, after 5 years it turns out that BTC continues its power law behavior with similar exponent. A power law is not another formula or model but the same mathematical behavior behind river formation, mountains growth, cities development, GDP vs population, and metabolic rate. Everything important is ruled by power laws, so BTC. BTC is a force of Nature.
