What are the realistic bear cases for Bitcoin?

It’s all well and good to think about how great everything could be with Bitcoin, but reality is probably not going to align with that exactly. So what are the things that are possible, maybe even probable, that would negatively affect Bitcoin in the short, medium, and long terms?

No, Bitcoin is not controlled by a small group of investors and miners (A rebuttal to the TechSpot article)
